Okay, so I vanished. I didn’t really disappear, though there were for sure times I wish I could’ve gone screaming into the wilderness to live in an underground cave or maybe in a house on chicken legs like Baba Yaga.

But I digress. I felt for too long like my silly blog could not stand up to the awful things that kept happening in the world. People losing their rights, consistent gun violence, ever-present racism, climate doom- ya know, sh!t like that. So my bitching about my whatever- my ass, my clothing, my minor inconveniences- seemed so dumb in the face of these existential calamities. And so I stopped writing. Also, I’m a student, a full-time worker, a mom, an intern and a human woman which means I don’t have a lot of time. And so I stopped writing! Well, I mean, I wrote a f*ck ton of papers, which made me want to write even less in my daily two hours of free time.

But something happened- I realized that writing brings me joy, so I need to keep doing it. I miss the hell out of it! So, I am writing again. Whatever. Whenever. If you want, come take a look. I’m still busy. I’m still doing all the things, but I’m also trying to carve out some time for myself to write. See you soon.
